Signing a Cooperation Agreement with The USJ

The University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon, represented by its president Dr. Mohammad Reda Fadlallah, signed a cooperation agreement with Saint Joseph University in Beirut, represented by its rector Professor Salim Daccache s.j., and the Syndicate of Special Educators in Lebanon, represented by the head of syndicate Dr. Asma Mjaes Azar.
The agreement aims at enhancing cooperation and fostering cultural, scientific and technical exchange between the three parties as educational partners. It also empowers the role of special education, and develops relevant curricula in both universities in collaboration with the syndicate. Under this agreement, the two universities shall exchange educational resources, publish scientific researches and prepare a joint course or a training unit addressed to the students of both universities. This course or training unit shall include a definition of the special educator’s profession and professional ethics, and shed light on the educator’s role and skills.
The two parties agreed on several cooperative items to strengthen the relationship between the two institutions.
