The University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon organized a football tournament for high school students from several schools, on the occasion of the Resistance and Liberation Day. The tournament was held on Friday, May 24, 2024, on Classico Soccer Fields.

Participants to the tournament were Al Mahdi, Al Kawthar, Al Imam Al Hassan, Al Rahma, Al Mostafa and Al Jawad schools, in addition to Dar Al Sadek Institute.

This tournament began with a welcoming speech delivered by vice president for student affairs, Dr. Nasri Harb, who extended his thanks to participating schools, and encouraged them to continue with their positive competitive sports activity. Dr, Harb also congratulated all attendees on the occasion of the Resistance and Liberation Day. Then, Al Fatihah was recited for the souls of martyrs.

A speech was then delivered by Mr. Ali Al Haj Hassan – head of sports activities at the University- welcoming the attendees and participating students, after which a draw took place to distribute teams.

Finally, cups were awarded to both winning teams, along with honorary shields for administrations of the participating schools. Medals were also distributed to all participating students.
