Placement Tests

Students are required to take placement tests in several subjects before registering for any major. Tests are determined as follows:

–          Faculty of Education (Teaching Arabic Language and Children    Literature, Special Education, Early Childhood) –          Arabic Language

–          Foreign Language (English or French according to the student’s second language)

–          Faculty of Education (Teaching English Language and Children’s Literature) –          Arabic Language

–          English Language

–          Faculty of Education (Teaching Sciences and Mathematics) –          Arabic Language

–          Foreign Language (English or French according to the student’s second language)

–          Sciences

–          Mathematics

–          Faculty of Education (Physical Education) –          Arabic Language

–          Foreign Language (English or French according to the student’s second language)

–          Oral Interview

–          Practical Test for measuring physical skills

Note: Registration for Physical Education concentration is dependent on passing all relevant tests.

Results of Placement Tests and Remedial Courses

According to the results of placement tests, new students shall accordingly enroll in remedial courses as follows:

Regarding students who wish to register for Teaching Arabic Language and Children’s Literature must gain a grade of at least 60/100 in the Arabic Language placement test.
