The Office of Student Affairs is the students’ gate to non-academic life at the University. It is responsible for the reinforcement of their participation in the University life, by providing the environment appropriate to promote their psychological and social skills, uncover and develop their artistic talents in order to insure balance between their different aspects of personality and help them adapt to the requirements of practical and personal life.
The Office of Student Affairs is concerned with conducting activities and holding student exhibits and festivals whether it be cultural, artistic, social or related to sports. It also provides the support and advise necessary for establishing clubs in these fields. The Office is responsible for guiding and advising students in terms of knowledge, and behavior in order to find solutions for problems related to their personal and social affairs, which might be an obstacle in their academic life, in addition to helping them overcome any economic obstacles they face during their studies. That is done by offering them scholarship applications, or trying to provide them with jobs inside or outside the University.
The Office of Student Affairs is not only concerned with student affairs during their years of study, but it also assists graduates after University in both personal and professional lives, works on providing them with the necessary support for choosing appropriate careers, and gives them the training required in the labor market in order to promote their competitive ability.
