The University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon considers that registered students have the right to file complaints, whether it be related to academic or non-academic services, or any case of discrimination or mistreatment by any academic or administrative body. The University guarantees that its students will not suffer from any kind of discrimination due to his/ her complaint. It also guarantees the confidentiality of these complaints, for it considers that the body to which the complaint is filed is solely authorized to read its content along with the persons responsible for resolving it.
Student may file complaints at the Office of Student Affairs, taking the following standards into consideration:
- The number of complaints filed by any student shall not exceed 4 complaints during one academic year.
- A specified form must be filled to file a complaint.
It is noteworthy that a student has the right to appeal to a higher body if he/ she were not satisfied with the result.
