A delegation from USAL meets with the Indian Ambassador to Lebanon

A USAL delegation visited His Excellency, India’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Mohammad Noor Rahman Sheikh at the embassy headquarters in Hamra. The delegation included Deputy Chairman for Students’ Affairs, Dr. Nasri Harb, Deputy Chairman for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Yasser Fadlallah, and Administrator of Communication Office Ms. Malak Harkous.
The delegation made a presentation about the university, its faculties, and bachelor’s academic programs, and introduced the Ambassador to the university’s scientific and research achievements, in addition to its academic development and partnerships. The two sides discussed horizons of cooperation on many domains of mutual interest, and the social role they would play in serving the society.
The team introduced His Excellency to the university’s efforts in providing students with the environment and activities necessary for building their personalities. The conferees stressed the importance of establishing academic and cultural cooperation between the two sides in a way that serves students and increases their efficiency at the labour market.
The delegation finally thanked the ambassador for visiting the university and participating in the cultural day entitled “Lebanon, Where Civilizations Meet”. The activity included corners for different countries, and the team of students displaying India’s civilization ranked first.
