In cooperation with the Lebanese Muay Thai Federation, the Physical Education Department at the University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon (USAL) organized a webinar in which the Federation’s Executive Director and, member of the International Education Committee, Lecturer Mr. Mohammad Amro talked about the history and the development of the Muay Thai sport. He also tackled the reality of the game and the federations in Lebanon, in addition to some of the game’s techniques and rules. Besides, Mr. Amro underscored the importance of this game inside the university and other educational institutions, not to mention its social, psychological and health impacts…

The interactive meeting was significant on the level of the effective presence of more than 70 students from the department of Physical and Sports Education among others. Additionally, specialized clubs and coaches of this game took part in this webinar, which will serve as an introduction for other training workshops in cooperation with the Lebanese Muay Thai Federation, and within different fields of practicing this game.
