USAL held a seminar entitled “The Lebanese Football: Between Reality and Aspirations”

The Faculty of Education at USAL held a seminar entitled “The Lebanese Football: Between Reality and Aspirations”, hosting Captain Bassem Mohammed. Students of Physical and Sport Education Department in the university attended the event during which there was a presentation on the Lebanese football between the past, the present and the future.
Captain Bassem Mohammed talked about the structure of the Lebanese Football Association, and the working mechanisms adopted by the association for the advancement of the game, such as training and referee courses in addition to other activities.
Captain Mohammed also talked about the championships and competitions organized by the association for the different age groups, amongst which are School Championships Activities Unit, and the Mini-Football Program (6 Players and a Goalkeeper) that is held on home-and away basis.
At the end of the meeting, Captain Bassem Mohammed answered students’ questions and discussed their concerns on the reality of the Lebanese Football, relevant to the Academy Championship, Al-Amal League, the Lebanese League.
Finally, Captain Bassem Mohammed was granted a plaque of appreciation by the students of the Football Course.
