In his speech, Dr. Fadlallah pointed out to the policy of achieving the goals of success and excellence, saying: “Perhaps the most significant of standards at the university is its administrative discipline, which provides a quiet learning environment, and a humanitarian atmosphere of love and respect, and academic discipline through following up courses attentively and diligently.”

“It is very important to provide students with technical skills, and enable them to trade with the tools of science and its means,” he said. “We at the university are keen to introduce innovations and technologies. This is the reason behind having laboratories and libraries, sources of information, modern information technologies aimed to facilitate the learning process.”

During the meeting, a film about the services of the university and the position of its staff members was presented. Deputy Dean of the School of Business, Kassem Al-Masri, spoke to the students about the general guidelines at university before answering the questions of the students regarding their new university life and the educational and administrative systems. Furthermore, a number of old students spoke about their academic and social experience at USAL.

Finally, students were distributed according to their majors in multiple classrooms to meet the respective dean of their faculties, heads of departments and professors who explained the contents of the courses, their activities and examinations, and the systems and structures of the faculties.
