An interesting and Productive Journey at Al Araby Studios – Lebanon

Al Araby TV’s morning show, “Sabah Al Nour” hosted USAL’s students of the “Radio and TV Pre-Production” course under the supervision of their teacher, Dr. Leila Shamsedine.
The students had the opportunity to accompany Rita Abboud, the program producer, before, during and after executing the various, diverse and interesting sections of the program at Al Araby TV’s advanced studios. USAL students also experienced the backstage area and the control room for two hours of live broadcasting.
During these few hours, the students were able to benefit considerably from the expertise of the managers and staff of “Sabah Al Nour” show, which is executed in utmost harmony in pre-production, presentation, coordination and production. The visit was marked with a meeting between the students and the executive producer of the show, Mrs. Jinan Feghali, the show presenters Sara Khan and Amin bin Hamza with the presence of the producer Abboud and the production assistant, the journalist Mona Al Mussawi, in addition to the director of the show Hadi Abi Warda and members of the technical team, who enriched the students’ knowledge with in-depth explanations and professionalism of the process.
The students closely experienced in reality what they previously learned in the university classes, and the appreciated the attention, welcoming the rush of knowledge they received from the show team during their visit. This experience summed up the process of producing different and diverse sections of a TV show in details starting from the first idea to the stages of post-broadcasting.
