
Hassan Alaaraj
Hassan Alaaraj obtained his Bachelor and MBA degrees in Finance and Banking from the Islamic University of Lebanon. In 2015, he earned his PhD in Economics from University Utara Malaysia – UUM (AACSB Accredited), where he joined instantly as a senior Lecturer at the School of Economics, Finance and Banking. In 2020, he joined the University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon (USAL) as the Accounting and Finance Program Coordinator.
He taught several courses in Finance: Financial Management, Advanced Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Financial Reporting and Analysis, Business Finance, Feasibility study and Capital Budgeting, Investment, Quantitative Methods for Business Decisions, Managerial Accounting, and Business Research Methods.
He has developed a solid network with international academicians and participated in organizing many international conferences in Malaysia, Indonesia, Bosnia Herzegovina, Pakistan, and Lebanon. Furthermore, he has been a member of the editorial board and a guest Editor in many international journals. He is an active researcher with more than 20 publications in the field of behavioral finance, corporate governance and management.
He participated in many academic committees: Quality Assurance, AACSB accreditation, Accreditation and Internationalism.
